Is this a pharmacy management system?

This service connects existing systems or adds integration capabilities to your product. A new pharmacy management product, dispensing application or inventory system is a separate software-development scope.

Can you connect our product to Surescripts?

We can assess an integration engineering scope around the access, documentation and permissions your organization obtains. Network participation, certification and commercial approval remain with Surescripts and the relevant contracting parties. We do not promise or provide network access by default.

How do NCPDP and FHIR fit together?

NCPDP SCRIPT supports prescription-related transactions. FHIR medication resources represent different clinical information and workflow events. The standards serve different purposes; we select the appropriate interface and explicitly map data where the use case calls for both.

Why separate medication orders, dispensing and reported use?

An order describes prescribing intent, a dispensing event concerns supply, and reported use records information about medication use. Combining them without context can misrepresent the underlying event. We preserve source, timing and status for downstream review.

Can you implement electronic prescribing of controlled substances?

Any such scope needs a dedicated review of applicable requirements, identity and authentication controls, application assessment and network prerequisites. General pharmacy integration does not imply EPCS readiness or certification.

Can you automate clinical medication decisions?

This page offers integration engineering, not clinical decision-making. Prescribing, substitutions and medication reconciliation decisions must follow the authorized professionals and workflows your organization defines.

What drives the implementation timeline?

Vendor or network onboarding, available documentation, supported transactions, testing, clinical review and customer approvals drive timing. We identify these dependencies before agreeing milestones.
